I recently saw two really nice Damien Hirst documentaries on Channel 4, both were very insightful and gave an in depth look at his life and work. If you live in the UK I highly recommend watching them, they are both fascinating.
They aired because today (4th of April 2012) is the opening of “Damien Hirst Retrospective" at Tate Modern, which looks at his entire body of work over the span of more than 20 years. Featuring around 70 pieces of work it really shows the growth and development of one of todays most influential artists.
The exhibition runs from 4 April – 9 September 2012
