Zoo Portraits by Yago Partal
This wildly entertaining series comes courtesy of Yago Partal who dresses up zoo animals in snazzy attire. The entire series is really well done and a lot of the outfits match the critters characteristics perfectly. You can order prints of your favourite fashionable animal over at his tumblr page which is linked below.

Bad Dog by Richard Jackson
This 28 foot high sculpture was created by Richard Jackson, and is found outside the Orange County Museum of Art. As you can imagine the dog attracts a lot of attention from passers by, both negative and positive, but I personally think it’s pretty funny. The huge Labrador sculpture is rigged to spray yellow paint on the side of the museum, as well as anyone unfortunate enough to walk under it at the wrong time I presume. The sculpture is part of Richard Jackson’s "Aint Painting A Pain" exhibition, which runs until May 2013.

A Bird Ballet by Neels Castillon

Happy accidents always bring joy to our lives, none more so than in this beautiful video. While shooting for a commercial in Marseille, France Neels Castillon was suddenly swarmed by thousands upon thousands of birds. I’ve seen similar footage before of flocks of Starlings swirling through the sky like this and it always baffles me how they never collide, and move in such union.

Origami Animals by Quentin Trollip
It’s amazing to think that all these origami animals were created out of a single uncut sheet of square paper. Although often two different coloured pieces of washi paper had to be stuck to each other to give added detail to the animals which are multicoloured.

In Barrio de Gracia, Barcelona, a bare concrete wall on the side of a building had been occupied by sparrows, nesting in random holes in the wall. Eventually the wall was repaired, plugging up all the holes, and the sparrows disappeared. In an effort to bring the sparrows back, Dom Arquitectura placed colorful birdhouses equally spaced in rows on the same wall. Not only do the birdhouses bring joyful color to the wall, but the sparrows returned adding life, flight and song to the neighborhood.
